Skin Tag Removal will be done via Electrocautery – this involves using a small probe with an electric current to dehydrate the skin to remove the DPN or Skin Tag. DPN stands for Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra and is a common benign (non-cancerous) lesion, usually characterized by multiple small, black or brown skin tags on the face, cheeks, forehead and neck. Skin tags are painless, noncancerous growths on the skin and are excised at the base of the stalk.
